The combination of beautiful nature and coffee basket is not sodifficult to fulfill in Västra Torsås.
Out in the Horgeboda area, I have also heard that there are plenty of them! One of these places is Matavråen. I only have to mention Matavråen to my grandparents before they start telling stories about this gigantic rock, which has been so practically used for hundreds of years by many travelers and West Torsås residents, for protection against the weather and as an obvious place to rest. With my 20 years in the backpack, I immediately begin to vividly fantasize that the matavrå has saved the lives of many tramps and fugitives.
Last but not least, I want to confess something. Going to Matavråen only after (!) I have had coffee was not very smart. At the next moose round or excursion, stop at Matavråen, which has both tables and chairs. Absolutely perfect for those who have the imagination and coffee cravings left!
