Here you will find information about different places for overnight stays with motorhomes and caravans. By using these designated areas, you help preserve nature, respect landowners, and support the local community – Our ambition is to develop the Åsnen area in a respectful and sustainable way.
Please note that you are not allowed to park or camp overnight with a motorhome, caravan, or a car with a rooftop tent in natural areas such as forests, beaches, grazing fields, parks, or on lawns. In other words, this is not included in the Right of Public Access. In rural areas, many roads are classified as private roads (“enskild väg”), which means that landowners may prohibit certain vehicles on their land. It is also prohibited to stay overnight in motorhomes or similar vehicles in the national park parking areas.
