Åsnen is known for its fantastic nature and plenty of space for all types of canoeing experiences.
The campsite has 14 aluminum canoes.
For day trips, it is possible to have up to 2 adults and 2 children or 3 adults in one canoe.
For multi-day trips, 2 people in each canoe is recommended, as there must be space for luggage as well.
-The canoes can carry a maximum load of 400 kg in total.
Normally it is estimated that you can paddle about 10-20 km per day ….
Of course depending on experience with paddling and also depending on the weather and wind!
