The footpath loops in Osaby are suitable for everyone. The short Hemängsslingan loop is a pleasant 1 km walk in direct connection to the manor, where the crocuses light up the lawn in early spring. The Sjöslingan loop, marked in blue, is 4 km and offers wonderful views of Lake Vederslövssjön. Hagmarksslingan loop is marked in yellow, and more substantial shoes or boots are recommended as some parts may be wet.

Close to the car park and start of the walks is the beautiful old manor, which dates back to the Middle Ages. In front of the manor, Hemängen meadow spreads out – some years you can experience a sea of the ethereal snake’s head fritillaries here. The path with red markings will take you around Hemängen, approx. 1 km.
An enjoyable place that can be found between the manor and the car park! Sit down by the old ash tree, relax your shoulders and take in the view. Nearby you’ll find a daphne, which is best described as nature’s own perfume! It flowers early in spring on bare branches. It was named plant of the year 2021. But take care with children – while it’s beautiful and has a heavenly aroma, it’s also poisonous!
Hagmarksslingan loop goes through typical old Småland pastures and past knotted oaks and magnificent alberta spruce. In the spring the birds put on a high-class concert. The walk offers great tranquillity! Some parts can be a little wet, so if you walk here in the spring or after rain, sturdy shoes or boots are recommended. Just over 4 km and marked in yellow.
Sjöslingan loop, marked in blue, is approx. 4 km and will take you through meadows, forests and alongside Lake Vederslövssjön. A favourite with many and a truly wonderful mix of nature and, not least, several nice places to take a break and enjoy the sun-warm stone slabs!
